Please read the information below before commencing with your measurements
This measurement form consists of two sections. The first section is for the detailed primary measurements you provide. Please take care in filling in this form, making sure that every section is correctly completed. You may find some measurements in section 1 require assistance to take, however this is where section 2 comes in. In Section 2, all you need is a coat that fits you comfortably and a tape measure. Please take care in completing this section too. Completing both sections of this form will help ensure we get your correct measurements first time so as we can tailor your coat to fit you perfectly. Thank you.

| 2.SHOULDERS: NORMAL / SLOPING / STRAIGHT:
How should we posture your garment to fit your shoulders? |
3.FULL SHOULDER MEASUREMENT
The full shoulder measurement is a straight line measurement taken straight across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, please state if you wish us to allow for other clothing worn under your new coat?
FULL SHOULDER MEASUREMENT:
It is far more accurate to measure a straight line, from seam to seam as in illustration below, on a coat/jacket that fits you perfectly for this measurement.
Alternatively measure the full width of your shoulders in a straight line as in illustration below, allowing a little, for any clothing that may be worn under the garment i.e. a jacket 1.5 cm 15 mm would be added to the overall total width (not each side). |
4.CHEST MEASUREMENT
The chest measurement is taken by wrapping the tape measure tight under the arms and right around the chest circumference, with the arms down, right around the body similarly with the waist and hip measurements.
CHEST MEASUREMENT:

| Measure completely around the body up under arm as illustrated below. . |

The same measuring practice is used for the hip measurement, once again wrapping the tape right around the buttocks area achieving a measurement for the total circumference of the person's body.
HIP MEASUREMENT:
| Measure around your hips, bearing in mind a little slack is required for comfort and movement. |
7.COAT LENGTH IN BACK
The coat length at the back measurement is taken from the collar down to where you wish the hem of the coat to reach on the back of the legs.
COAT LENGTH IN BACK:
| Measure from lower collar seem as in diagram down to where you wish your coat or jacket hem to finish |
8.ARM
The arm measurement is taken around the thicker upper arm to allow for sleeve room.
ARM:
Allowing a little slack for comfort and movement. |
9.SLEEVE MEASUREMENT
The sleeve length measurement is taken from the outer tip of the shoulder, where the shoulder of the sleeve is stitched to the body of the coat ,straight down to the middle of the back of the hand, this allows sufficient length in the sleeve for when the hand is brought up to the chin.
SLEEVE MEASUREMENT:
| It is important to remember that this measurement is from the tip of the shoulder seam, down to the middle of the back of the hand as illustrated below . |
