Asian Products Direct Online Co., Ltd. was born when the Thai currency (baht) was un-pegged from the US dollar. Within months, the purchasing power of the US dollar almost doubled, bringing the cost of Thai manufactured products down by nearly 30%
Our Goal
At Asian Products Direct Online, our aim is nothing less than to bring our customers quality-manufactured products direct! This Strategy in turn reduces the amount of middlemen dramatically, thereby giving our customers tremendous value for their money. We have decided that the best way to accomplish our goal is by sourcing some of the finest oriental goods available, in many cases at their origin; workshop, studio or factory, and supplying them to our customers direct.
Our Products
We have representatives travelling throughout SouthEast Asia, searching for large and small cottage type manufacturers, sourcing genuine artistry and quality products for us to provide to our customers worldwide. The Artistry we find contains something special and unique. Our artistry products are all hand crafted by craftspeople and village artisans, many of whom are heirs to a generations-long heritage of skill and workmanship, which is becoming more and more difficult to find. When we purchase products, it is with the aim of supporting these native Asian artisans and craftspeople. We feel by giving these manufacturers support it will prolong the availability of this artistry and leads us to take extra care to ensure that we neither purchase nor supply any goods that are the product of exploitative labour practices. We seek to foster communal independence by promoting local culture rather than by commercializing it.

Because of our careful selection practices, all that we have on offer is something you can acquire and either wear, use, or display with pride.
